January 8: colorful knitted bear
Today I show my bear. I designed it, mostly just experimenting. I am using that same yarn, charisma 10 ply Aran. I started with two icords and then knitted the body, decreased and then increased again for the head. I added the crocheted arms and ears. I used black yarn to cinch a nose on the face. I made eyes with the black yarn and then added running stitches in white around the eyes. I did crochet feet and attach them. Pretty weird looking toy, but I am sure a kid will love it.
