March 13, 2024 4th week Lent
Today’s first reading is from Isaiah when the people return from Babylonian exile. The Lord speaks of renewing and rebuilding and that He is with them always. In the gospel, Jesus tells us about the relationship between Him and the Father. He says “I do not seek my own will but the will of the one who sent me.” He also says that whoever believes in Him has passed from death to life. I think that is where some get the saying “reborn”. I don’t remember a time when I did not believe in Jesus, so I never had that rebirth. Thanks be to God! Amen!
