March 14, 2024 4th week Lent
Today’s first reading is a conversation between Moses and God. God wants to destroy the people because they are worshipping idols. Moses begs for mercy and God gives them mercy. In the gospel, Jesus is testifying to who he is. He does say that those who reject the written Word of God aren’t going to accept anything. He said he came to be a witness to the truth, but many would not want to hear the truth. That Jesus Christ is Lord. He is the way, the truth, and the life! Amen!
