March 15, 2024 4th week Lent
Today’s first reading is from Wisdom and is the foretelling of the people condemning the just one, Jesus. In the psalm, it talks about the just, that they will be persecuted, but no bones will be broken, again a foretelling of Jesus. In the gospel, the people will try to find a way to condemn Jesus. Out of fear? Did they really think he came from evil? He tries to tell them that God sent Him. As we approach the triduum, the three part Mass of Jesus’passion, I feel more and more sadness for what Jesus had to endure for me. Amen!
