Holy Saturday At the Easter Vigil in the Holy Night of Easter
Easter Sunday The Resurrection of the Lord
Wow! What a title for today! It is finally here! Jesus has risen from the dead! Alleluia! Yesterday was so solemn with the encounter of the death of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
There are 7 readings, 8 responsorial psalms, an epistle, and the gospel reading for the Easter vigil. Our church will begin at 8:30 pm after dark. Candles and incense will be used and 4 people will be joined to our community tonight. It is a joyful and hopeful time for all Christians that we have the new covenant to be with Jesus at our death. Jesus died for our sins and then was resurrected to overcome that sin and death. The devil will not win! Amen!
