April 5: little lamb sock critter
Today’s toy is a knitted lamb. The pattern is on the Lion Brand website because it uses Lion Brand’s wool ease thick and quick yarn. I used the oatmeal colorway. Crafter’s square yarn in gray was also used, bought at the dollar tree! I used 5 mm size 8 needles. The pattern is knit with bulky yarn, so I held two strands of the gray yarn together. To finish the pieces, I used Kitchener stitch. The reason it is called a sock critter is that the neck and head shaping is knitted similar to a sock.
