May 11, 2024 Saturday of the Sixth Week of Easter
Today’s first reading is about the preaching of a Jew named Apollos in Ephasus. They said he was an eloquent speaker, was an authority on the scripture, and he vigorously refuted the Jews in public. My commentary said that we need to commit ourselves to reading and sharing the scripture. He also said to study the sacraments in the catechism. We all need to keep studying the faith and draw closer to Jesus. Amen!
In the gospel Jesus said the Father sent Him and He will return to the Father. Jesus also said “ask and you will receive, so that your joy may be complete.”
It is still the Easter season! Amen! Alleluia! Jesus is risen!
