May 15, 2024 Wednesday of the Seventh Week of Easter
Today’s first reading is Paul saying goodbye to the faithful in Ephasus. He said to stay vigilant and “keep in mind the words of the Lord Jesus who himself said,
‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’”
In the gospel, John 17, Jesus prays for the apostles. He said “I do not ask that you take them out of the world
but that you keep them from the Evil One.
They do not belong to the world
any more than I belong to the world.” Thank you Jesus for praying for me. Amen!
This is still the Easter season! Amen! Alleluia! Jesus is risen!
