May 16, 2024 Thursday of the Seventh Week of Easter

Today’s first reading: Paul is working his way back to Rome to be put on trial. He is in Jerusalem and the Sadducees and the Pharisees were there. Paul said he was a Pharisee and he is just testifying to the resurrection. A fight broke out between the two groups because one doesn’t believe in the resurrection of a body. Jesus tells Paul that he will be condemned in Rome, take courage!

In the gospel, Jesus prays for all those who believe in Him. That we are one with Him and the Father. Amen!

This is still the Easter season! Amen! Alleluia! Jesus is risen!
