June 19: knitted bear
Today’s toy is a knitted bear by Betty Lampen. This is a simple garter stitch bear made out of rectangles. Using Premier Bloom Chenille and size 3 needles, it was very simple. I added a ribbon around the neck. My notes from my Ravelry project page: I knitted on the legs before sewing up the back. With this pattern it starts with a 7×7” square, so with this yarn I cast on 20. Love the color of this yarn, but it sheds! I crocheted the muzzle, 6 SC in MR, increase round to 12, increase round to 15, two rounds of 15. Triangle eyes.
