Today’s toy is a knitted whale. The pattern is by Jean Greenhowe. Using Craft star acrylic yarn and size 0 needles, this is rather small. I like the construction. Maybe next time I will add wire so it can be posed.

Today’s toy is knitted and crocheted. I think it looks like a hippo but it could be a cow. Using the bloom yarn from Premier and size 6 (4 mm) needles and 3 mm hook, I knitted the head and body. I crocheted the arms and feet. To get the head to change shape, I…
Today’s toy is a knitted bird that I designed. Using Lion Brand ice cream roving, Bernat blanket yarn, and size 3 needles, this bird is so fun to make in any weight of yarn. I love the feet with the blanket yarn. The Lion Brand yarn is self striping and does have pink, but it…
Today I present two toys since I missed yesterday. HARD day at work… Today’s first toy is a crocheted otter. This design is from Rico design part of a crochet along releasing free patterns every Friday. I used Hobbii 8/4 cotton and some orange from a mandala cake from Lion Brand. This was a fun…

Today’s toy is a knitted mouse, Harold fatmus, by Clare Hutchinson. Using Red Heart, Bernat, Lion Brand, Knit Picks dishie, Hobbii’s rainbow 8/4 cotton, and both size 2 and 3 needles, color work was so fun on a toy. I used the size 2 needle for the ears and tail. I put an entire ball…
Today’s toy is a knitted owl. This design is mine. I made this one a little smaller. Using Big twist cotton and size 2 needles, this pattern is so quick. I really enjoyed the speckled yarn.
