Today’s toy is a crocheted raccoon from Lauren Espy’s book, Animal Amigurumi Adventures volume 1. Using all the sparkle yarn, Joann’s Big Twist Twinkle, Soft Secret party, and a 2.5 mm hook, this pattern was fun to make. I didn’t realize the size of these patterns based on the book photos. They are rather large. I had to change to the party yarn because I ran out of the gray Twinkle yarn. It looks like a good match of color.
