Today’s first reading is Paul writing to Timothy saying that Paul’s days are numbered but he has faith in Jesus. He awaits the crown of righteousness which can be given to all of us.

In the gospel, Mary and Joseph search for Jesus when he was 12 and found him in the temple. Jesus said “Did you not know that I had to be in my Father’s house?” This began the journey of Mary pondering things in her heart about her son.
