Today’s toy is a crocheted gnome. This time it is the snowflake gnome. Design by Kristi Simpson. Using Hobbii’s rainbow cotton 8/4, Garden 5, Scheepjes Catona, and a 2 mm hook, this was one of the simple ones to make. I have embroidered snowflakes before so it wasn’t difficult, but tricky the first time you do it. It definitely looks hand made. I made braids instead of a beard.
