July 30, 2024 Tuesday of the Seventeenth Week in Ordinary Time

Today’s first reading is Jeremiah viewing the destruction of man due to sin and pleading with God for relief. Do not forget our covenant!
In the gospel, Jesus explained the parable of the weeds and the wheat. God provides the wheat which are the righteous people following God’s commandments. The devil sowed the weeds which represent the evil people of the world. The angels will be the one who reap and the good people will rejoice in the kingdom of heaven and the evil ones will burn in the fires of hell. Then Jesus said, “Whoever has ears ought to hear.” Amen!
