In the first reading, more imagery from Ezekiel talking about cherubim taking God out of the temple. He also said that on of the men he saw was ordered by God to mark the ones who hated idolatry with “tau” which is a cross, on the forehead. My commentary said this,
For us Christians, God is never confined to one place. He is everywhere and we are urged to seek and find him in all things. We do not seek him in a temple. On the contrary, we are called to be his temple, the place where he is present. We can, however, expel him from our hearts and bring ruin on ourselves just as the people of Jerusalem did. The choice is ours. (https://livingspace.sacredspace.ie/o2194r/)
In the gospel, Jesus said to forgive your brother. He stated to his disciples that whatever you bind or loose will also be done in heaven. He also said that wherever two are gathered in His name, there He will be. Amen!
