Today’s first reading is by Proverbs saying Wisdom has built her house and says come eat of my food.

The responsorial psalm, Taste and see the goodness of the Lord

The second reading, “try to understand what is the will of the Lord. Be filled with the Spirit, giving thanks always and for everythingin the name of our Lord Jesus Christ to God the Father.”

In the gospel, Jesus said eat of the living bread, not the manna in the desert, but His flesh. You will not have life within you if you don’t eat of His flesh. You will live forever.
