In today’s first reading, Paul told the people of Corinth how they should be living. He was their guide to becoming children of God focusing on the life of Jesus. He also said God’s lack of wisdom is greater than the wisest of man. God’s weakness is stronger than that of the strongest of man. Amen!
In the gospel, Jesus told the parable of the ten bridesmaids waiting for the groom. Five were foolish and didn’t bring oil. Jesus said “stay awake, for you know neither the day nor the hour.” We need to be vigilant and focused. He put us here for a reason. Proclaim the good news!
