Today’s first reading, Paul is stating that he is not to be worshipped or considered to be powerful. That is to be reserved for God. He said we plant and water, but growth comes from God!

Today’s psalm is 33 and it spoke to me, verses 20-21:

Our soul waits for the LORD,
who is our help and our shield,
For in him our hearts rejoice;
in his holy name we trust.

our money even states “in God we trust”

In the gospel, Jesus heals many and drives out demons, showing the people that He has come to fulfill the Bible’s promises. He said “But he said to them, “To the other towns also
I must proclaim the good news of the Kingdom of God, because for this purpose I have been sent.”

My word of the year, Proclaim! Amen!
