October 28, 2024 Feast of Saints Simon and Jude, Apostles
In today’s first reading, Paul tells the Ephesians that we are no longer strangers. We now belong to the household of God with Jesus leading us to salvation! Amen!
In the gospel, Jesus went away from the camp to pray to the Father, all night. Upon His return, he named the twelve apostles. Simon, whom he named Peter, and his brother Andrew,
James, John, Philip, Bartholomew, Matthew, Thomas, James the son of Alphaeus,
Simon who was called a Zealot, and Judas the son of James, and Judas Iscariot, who became a traitor.
God is good, all the time!
