November 26, 2024 Tuesday of the Thirty-fourth Week in Ordinary Time

In the first reading, John, in Revelation, spoke about angels with sickles in heaven harvesting the earth. This is referring to the final judgement and the gathering of the righteous. We must prepare and be ready because we do not when our last day will come.
In the gospel, Jesus noticed that the people were focused on jewels and votive offerings in the temple. He warns them of the end of times. He wanted them to focus on God and not man. He talked about what signs you will see before judgement day, but then he warned that it wouldn’t happen immediately after. We must prepare!
