December 11: Santa and elf baubles
Today’s item is a crocheted ornament. Design by Craftingintx. Using Premier Just Chenille (teddy, plain, and medley), loops and threads petite purl, and a 3 mm hook, these are a great use of the color oyster. I made a Santa and an elf. The teddy yarn is perfect for the fur on the hat. I prefer using it to the Fur the Moment yarn from Hobby Lobby. That yarn is too furry! It is hard to find the stitches. One tip I can offer if you are only crocheting one row of the fur yarn, use the front loops only and then on the next round, with the plain yar, crochet into the back loop that is available.
