December 25: dog with dress
Today’s toy is a crocheted dog. Design found on Instagram. Using Bernat velvet and a 3 mm hook, this was the inspiration for a baby set for my new great-niece. I made the dog first, then I adapted the knit romper pattern I have used many times to work with the thicker velvet. Then I found a paw print pattern for the front of the romper. I completed the set with booties and a hat with dog ears. So cute!
Ashley received this baby gift and she loved it!
And then to complete the gift, I made a matching blanket with the velvet yarn. That design is mine as well.
