January 10, 2024: 1st week OT
OT means ordinary time. Today is the story of Samuel being called by God and not knowing it is God. Eli tells Samuel to say, “Speak Lord, Your servant is listening.” Will I know the Lord when he calls me? I pray that I am doing His will and will say YES to Him when he calls me.
in the gospel, Jesus heals and drives out demons for the people. He says that this is His purpose, why He came. He also went up a mountain by Himself to pray to the Father. I believe He needed to be rejuvenated, filling His cup, so He could continue His mission. How blessed are we to have Jesus, that God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son… (John 3:16)
