May 8, 2024 Wednesday of the Sixth Week of Easter
Today’s first reading: Paul is in Athens talking to the people and few convert, but he moves on. Those are building altars for an unknown god. Paul said “God has overlooked the times of ignorance, but now he demands that all people everywhere repent
because he has established a day on which he will ‘judge the world with justice’ through a man he has appointed, and he has provided confirmation for all by raising him from the dead.” Jesus will. Amen!
In the gospel, Jesus once again said that He will send the spirit, the Spirit of truth. “He will glorify me, because he will take from what is mine and declare it to you.”
This is still the Easter season! Amen! Alleluia! Jesus is risen!
