May 29, 2024 Wednesday of the Eighth Week in Ordinary Time
Today’s first reading focused on our purification through the blood of the lamb, Jesus. Also stating the word of God, which is also Jesus, has been proclaimed to us, my word of this year.
In the gospel, James and John ask to sit at the right and left of Jesus in heaven. Jesus said that was not for Him to give. Jesus focused on “whoever wishes to be great among you will be your servant;
whoever wishes to be first among you will be the slave of all.
For the Son of Man did not come to be served but to serve
and to give his life as a ransom for many.”
Amen! Come Holy Spirit!
