June 6: snail pillow
Today’s toy is a crocheted pillow. I participated in a crochet along on Instagram where the designer send part 1 of a pattern and if you complete it in 72 hours, she will send part two. I had only a few hours since I saw it late, but I did complete the shell and she sent me the pattern to complete the body. Using Bernat blanket and Mainstays cozy chenille for the daisy, Hobby Lobby’s yarn ID for the round pillow and body, and a 3.5 mm hook, this took quite a while to make, used a lot of yarn, and I had to adjust the pattern due to its size! I used double crochets to get the shape of the body and then the stuffing shows through.
