January 14, 2024 2nd Sunday in OT
OT means ordinary time. Today’s reading are repeats of recent daily mass readings, so I have already reflected on Samuel being called by God and Andrew and Peter following Jesus. The only other reading is 1 Corinthians 6 13c-15a, 17-20 It says to avoid immorality which is sinning against the body. Your body is a gift. Some days, most days, I do not like my body. I pray that some day, I will like my body and feel good in it. The psalm today from 40, Here am I Lord; I come to do Your will. That is my prayer today. I will follow Jesus!
