Today’s toy is a knitted bird that I designed. Using Lion Brand ice cream roving, Bernat blanket yarn, and size 3 needles, this bird is so fun to make in any weight of yarn. I love the feet with the blanket yarn. The Lion Brand yarn is self striping and does have pink, but it didn’t show up while making the bird.
Today’s toy is a knitted mouse from Jean Greenhowe. Using Hobbii’s friends 8/4 cotton and Scheepjes catona and size 2 needles, this was fun to make. Many pieces to sew on and I fluffed out the cotton with a wire brush. That was painful to my fingers.
