Today’s first reading is Amos still warning the people of God’s punishment for their evil ways. Won’t we turn to our Lord, ask for forgiveness?
In the gospel, Jesus is asleep in the boat and a storm comes. The disciples wake Jesus and are frightened by the storm. Jesus calms the storm and asks them why they still have no faith. In our current storms, we need to reach out to Jesus. He is right there weathering the storms in our lives alongside! Amen!
