July 22: Christmas tree gnome
Today’s toy is a crocheted gnome. Design by Kristi Simpson. Using Scheepjes catona, Hobbii’s rainbow cotton 8/4, and a 1.5 mm hook, this was fun to make. I like the colors on the hat like Christmas tree lights.

October 9: whale
Today’s toy is a crocheted whale. Design by NaimanovaToys on Etsy. Using Bernat blanket, Mainstays cozy chenille, Premier just chenille, and a 4.5 mm hook, I decided to do the traditional colors with color changes that the pattern suggests. These whales are quite small. I might donate them to the shoebox ministry.
