In the first reading, the Jews in the desert say Give us something to eat. God provides quail and bread from heaven.
In the second reading, Paul says to forget your old self and focus on your new life in the Spirit.
In the gospel, people following Jesus want more food, the never ending food Jesus talks about. Jesus said”I am the bread of life; whoever comes to me will never hunger,
and whoever believes in me will never thirst.”
