January 20: my first Hoppy the bunny

Today’s toy is a crocheted cow. Design by Lauren Espy, but the longhorn I designed. It has a pipe cleaner in it so it can be shaped. Using Super Saver yarn, Pound of Love yarn, Hobby Lobby’s Yarn ID, and a 3 mm hook, I used colors for UT longhorns. Super cute pattern.

Today’s toy is a crocheted turtle. This design is by Rico design and is the last of the crochet along hosted by Rico design. Using Hobbii’s rainbow cotton 8/4 and a 2.5 mm hook, this was such a fun design. I love turtles! There is a treasure map on the shell!

Today’s toy is a crocheted macaron. Design by Lauren Espy. Using embroidery floss, six strand, and a 1.5 mm hook, these are very colorful and easy to make. I sent them to a friend’s son who is a bakery chef. I did not put the eyes on them.

Today’s toy is a crocheted gnome. Design by Kristi Simpson. Using Scheepjes catona, Hobbii’s rainbow cotton 8/4, and a 1.5 mm hook, this was fun to make. I like the colors on the hat like Christmas tree lights.
