Today’s toy is a crocheted chick. Design by Merutoys. Using Premier’s Bloom chenille and a 4.5 mm hook, this chick was modified since I used thicker yarn. For the body, I increased to 24, then 28, then 32, 5 rounds at 32. Decrease the same way. I only did two rounds instead of 3 rounds for the wings.

Today’s toy is a crocheted seal. Using Lion Brand baby soft in white and 2.5 mm hook. The pattern is by Little Muggles. I used scrap yarn for the hat, scarf and face. I would have preferred one piece instead of the tail being attached. It looks that way, seamed.
Today’s item is a crocheted car ornament for Halloween. Design by Craftingintx. Using different acrylic yarns and both 2.25 and 3 mm hooks, I made a pumpkin, ghost, cat, and spider to hang off of a planter. I think it would look better with DMC floss. Maybe, I will try that next year.
