Today’s first reading is Paul telling the Thessalonians not to be idle waiting for the second coming of Christ. He said if you don’t work, you shouldn’t eat. He was harsh to get the point across. He didn’t want the people to give up.
In the gospel, Jesus concluded the seven woes to the scribes and Pharisees. Hypocrisy showed in their adornments of tombs built for the prophets that they had killed. That is hypocrisy! Where is the hypocrisy in my life?
