Today’s first reading is Paul trying to explain the spirit of God that we must have within us. We should not be led by the things of this world, but by the Holy Spirit. Amen!
In the gospel, a demon has hold of a person in the temple where Jesus is speaking. Jesus rebuked the evil spirit and called him out of the man. Of course he obeyed. People were astounded! Word spread about Jesus and his ability to cast out demons.
