In today’s first reading, Paul discussed the eating of meat that was sacrificed to idols. His message is that you shouldn’t do something that will cause others to sin. Be a good example as your Heavenly Father sent Jesus to be THE example of living the life of a good person.
In the gospel, Jesus continued the sermon that is also in Matthew 5. Turn the other cheek, offer your possessions to ones in need. Do not harbor ill feelings for someone who takes from you. Just keep focusing on the prize of heaven! It will be here soon! Amen!
