Today’s first reading is of God’s punishment when the people in the desert start complaining. He sends down serpents and many people die. When they ask for forgiveness, God told Moses to build a snake and when people looked at, they would be healed.
In the second reading, Paul talks about the glory of Jesus. Every knee bend and tongue confess! Love it.
in the gospel, the famous John 3:16 is read. Jesus was talking to Nicodemus. I love that they include the verses around the famous one so you have some context. Jesus even quotes the first reading in the gospel.
