Today’s toy is a crocheted cactus. Design by Lauren Espy. Using Lion Brand chenille, Lion Brand pond of love, Premier just chenille, Red Heart nylon, and a 3 mm hook, I love making plants. Almost as much as I like making birds. I made the planter from my own design. The chenille yarn is the perfect dirt. I love the shiny nylon thread that is sport weight. The flower on top was also not part of the pattern.
