September 15, 2024 Twenty-fourth Sunday in Ordinary Time

The first reading is from Isaiah. He states that God is always by his side. That’s what I want in my daily life. Sin sometimes separates us from walking with the Lord.
In the second reading, James said: “Demonstrate your faith to me without works,
and I will demonstrate my faith to you from my works.” Gotta have faith and works! Amen
In the gospel, Jesus asked the disciples who He was to them and Peter answered the Christ! Then he told the people to take up their cross and follow Him.
