January 23: Hoppy the Bunny

Today’s toy is another Hoppy the bunny I designed and crocheted. I am still working on the pattern for the Huggable Heart, so I haven’t started the Hoppy pattern yet. Video is needed for Hoppy since I had different numbers for where to place the shaping of the face with different yarn. This time, I used two strands of a worsted weight merino that I have had forever in my stash, no longer sold, I’m sure. Following my notes to see if I could repeat the pattern. I am going to make it again in the Ice Cream yarn to see if the numbers are the same again and measure the gauge. The heart nose was made with DMC floss. All in a magic ring: ch 2, 2 DC, HDC, SC, ch 1, DC, ch 1, SC, HDC, 2 DC, ch 2, slip stitch into ring. That’s all there is to the heart nose. I changed the ears to make them longer and wider. Limited Edition yarn from Lion Brand was used for the tail.
