Today’s first reading is about our bodies and our spiritual gifts. We are all one body in Christ, but we all have unique gifts from the Spirit. Paul said “Strive eagerly for the greatest spiritual gifts.” Amen!

In the gospel, Jesus is moved with pity for a widow who lost her only son. How was she to live? Jesus told the dead to rise and he did. What a miracle to witness! God is good all the time!
