In today’s first reading, Job said that the Lord is all powerful over man. He should be feared and obeyed.
In the gospel, I think this is the third time for this passage in just a few weeks. The disciples are asking Jesus who is the greatest in heaven or how do we get there. It must have been on their minds to experience the place that Jesus must have raved about. The ultimate goal f the human on earth is to get to heaven. Jesus said those who humble themselves like children will enter the kingdom. Then the important verse, “See that you do not despise one of these little ones,
for I say to you that their angels in heaven always look upon the face of my heavenly Father.”
The children are guarded by the angels.
