In today’s first reading, Paul warns about those who preach from other texts besides the Bible. He said he only preaches the word from God and Jesus’ testimony.

In the gospel, one asks Jesus how can he be saved. Jesus asks him what are the commandments. Then after the man understands that, he still asks the question. Jesus tells him the parable of the Good Samaritan. After the man replies that the Samaritan showed mercy, Jesus said go and do likewise. My commentary said that we should all be good neighbors.
