November 6, 2024 Wednesday of the Thirty-first Week in Ordinary Time

In the first reading, Paul praises the new Christians for being obedient. He also said he shares his joy for the Lord with them even from prison. Paul prays that they would share their joy with him.
In the gospel, Jesus states boldly how you must follow Him. Renounce all of you earthly possessions, leave your family, comfort, life. Pick up your cross, your burdens, and follow Him. Amen!
My commentary today reminds me of a song, First things First, seek Your will, not my own. Surrender all my wants to you.
