In today’s first reading, Paul instructs Titus on the way to live for Christ. Stay consistent. Older men, older women, and younger men are mentioned. How to live so that the word of God may not be discredited. There is a passage we use in Mass, “as we await the blessed hope” . He finishes by saying “eager to do what is good” I pray that I am eager. Amen!
In the gospel, Jesus reminds us of our mission to do the will of the Father. A landowner expects his servant to cook the meal after laboring all day in the field. Our work is never done. Sin is all around us. Let the Holy Spirit guide us this day! Amen!
