Today’s item is a crocheted angel. Design by Lora Johnson. Using crochet thread and a 1.5 mm hook, this was quite simple to make. I made two of them, one I will sell once I have the storage items I need for proper shipment. I use a cone for the dress of the angel and a plastic shoe box to store it in.
Today’s toy is a crocheted frog. Design by kawaiicuddlebug. Using Bernat blanket, Red Heart, and a 4.5 mm crochet hook, this was simple and quick. I ran out of the yarn color to make the romper. There is a matching hat. The legs and arms were changed. There is no stuffing in them.
Today’s toy is Barry the bass, a crocheted fish. This design is by Theresa’s crochet shop. Using Bernat blanket and a 4.5 mm hook, this fish was fun to make. The construction with the mouth inside the fish was a great design. There were many pieces that I think could be done with surface crochet….
Today’s toy is a crocheted gnome in traditional Christmas colors. Design by Pinktomatocrochet. Using Bernat velvet, Loops and Threads chenille, Premier just chenille, and a 3 mm hook, this was a joy to make! Love traditional Christmas colors, especially when the red is a deep color. Today’s toy is a pot of crocheted succulents. Design by Lauren Espy. Using many different greens I had on hand and a 3 mm hook, this was a tedious one. I liked making the prickly parts of the large cactus. I thought about adding a flower as well. Not my favorite.
