December 1, 2024 First Sunday of Advent

In the first reading Jeremiah speaks about the coming of Jesus. He said that Jerusalem will be saved.
In the second reading Paul talks about how to live as instructed by him.”Conduct yourselves to please God.
In the gospel, Jesus spoke of the second coming. “Be vigilant at all times
and pray that you have the strength
to escape the tribulations that are imminent
and to stand before the Son of Man.”
Holy Spirit help me prepare for standing before you, Jesus, and the Lord.
