Today’s crochet toy is a bear that is so dark, I had to crochet blue eyes so they would stand out on the toy. I used some boucle yarn so the stitches were difficult to see. This was a pattern I found online for a mini bear, but I couldn’t find it on Ravelry for my project page. I put in my notes that there was a lot of sewing for such a small toy. Scraps of blue, black, and tan were used for the face.

The larger hook makes a squishy fabric and the stuffing doesn’t show through. Today’s toy is a crocheted octopus. Design by Darling Maple Designs. Using Loops and Threads Sweet Snuggle Lite and a 3 mm hook, this was fun to make. It was quick and I didn’t have to stuff it or close the body. You could use it as a finger puppet.
Today’s toy is a crocheted kitty. It is Violet the kitty by Little Muggles. I used minis from Hobby Lobby I love this cotton rosy and amethyst. I striped the cat because I didn’t have enough of one color for the cat. It was a fun project. I like working with cotton yarn.
