OT means ordinary time. We hear about Solomon’s request when God asks him what he wants above all, understanding to judge and guide his people since he was so young. God said that no one would ever be wiser than Solomon. God also said he would give him the things he did not ask for, riches. What a blessing to have God with you like that! In the gospel, Mark tells of the crowds gathering to be healed and eventually be fed, this begins the story of feeding the five thousand. Jesus calls us sheep without a shepherd. I always thought it was interesting that Jesus was called the lamb and the shepherd.
